Recovering from a traumatic brain injury

As many California residents may know, traumatic brain injuries might cause varying degrees of disability. Recovering from such injuries may take months to years and, for some victims, extensive rehabilitative effort is necessary. Traumatic brain injury affects about 2.5 million individuals annually in the United States due to falls, motor vehicle accidents, blunt trauma and violence. The types of brain injury range from a contusion to brain tissue destruction. This may result in cognitive or physical defects.

Injured passengers seek damages in California crash

Two people who were injured in a crash in Oxnard on Feb. 24 are seeking damages in relation to the incident. The crash involved a Metrolink commuter train and a pickup truck that was left abandoned on the train rails.
